The Global Institute of Beauty Standards LLC was established to address a critical gap in the beauty education industry: the lack of independent, rigorous oversight for continuing education courses. Our mission is to review, certify, and monitor beauty education programs — ensuring that every certified course meets strict standards for curriculum quality, hour requirements, and instructor competence.
We believe that beauty professionals deserve education they can trust, and that employers and licensing boards deserve certificates they can verify.
Instructors submit their courses for review, including full curriculum, hour breakdown, and learning objectives.
Our standards board reviews the course content, verifies hour requirements, and approves or provides feedback.
Upon approval, students enroll. Attendance is tracked per session by the instructor and locked upon submission.
Students who meet attendance and assessment thresholds receive a GIBS-issued certificate with QR verification.
